I think the rotation will be similar to last year, giving whoever has the hot hand that week the most touches. I believe, however, the ones who get the most touches will be Hilliard and Ford, followed by Blue and a slimmed down Ware. I'm hoping Magee redshirts. Jeremy Hill may get a few touches as well

At first I was impressed with how violent a runner Ware was, and then it just became clear that's all he had. There's nothing wrong with trying to make somebody miss every once in a while.

I guess I'd go Hilliard. LSU's stable of backs is great cause of the depth, but no one guy stands out to me as being great. Hilliard has the most potential to be that guy (I don't know anything about Hill).

Hilliard's strength that is overlooked is his ability to find and slide thru the correct hole. As big and powerful as he is also nimble. Ware is a stud. Ford just doesnt do some of the other things such as block for the qb etc that a complete back needs to do. Blue can pretty much do it all. This all being said I dont think anyone sticks out as the clear #1 back

Honestly Hill was the most impressive back of all coming out of high school.Right now I would go with Ford.

I know we recruited him but haven't seen any highlights and didn't watch LSU's spring game. I'm sure he's talented. Yeldon may be our most talented back.

Didn't a fair amount of Ford's carries come on options? I know he was the outside runner so I assume he'll still get some sweeps assuming LSU doesn't really run much option anymore.

yes you are correct. it is going to be interesting because ford was the go to guy when we ran the option... so im not sure how that is going to effect his carries/production.

Is there any footage of him doing anything other than that?

Yeah he ran over that safety in the SECCG and made Awburn quit.

I watched a couple of lsu games last year so that pretty much makes me an expert so let me lay it out for Miles;

Hilliard is the real deal. He must be related to Dalton because he is really good and is the best in this group of "elite" lol RBs you think you have.

Ware and Ford are really good examples of players coming out of H.S. and being over rated by services like rivals and scout because Miles offers them. (In Ware's case, OSU offers them too,so double over-rated)

Blue is good, fast and elusive and expect him to take a step up this year. This Hill fellow sounds like he could be trouble although I haven't seen him. Hoping he'll be kicked off the team by the time we have to play lsu, but we will have our hands full with Hilliard.
