How many years will Miles have to maintain the program (actually bring it to a higher level then Saban ever did)? I feel confident he could coach for another decade and some of his critics will still say it's because of a coach who was here 2 decades ago. We are way past Coker time period, 8 years later. It's funny how Meyer gets all the credit for his NC in year 2. What about Zook talent already there? How about Hallman in 90? Why couldn't he continue the winning tradition of the 88 SEC Champ tiger team just 2 years prior? It's so easy in LA to recruit anybody can do it

Yeah, I agree with everything you said. I even said:

Is he a good coach? Yes

I am not taking anything away from him, just framing his success within the advantageous position he has the benefit of enjoying.

You're so quick to try to defend a slight that was never there to begin with. Slow your roll.

He recruits against almost no one for most of the kids who attend LSU.

It's just silly to say he doesn't recruit against anybody when most of the guys he gets are 3 and 4 stars with a 5 mixed in who have offers from all over the country. He is also going after national kids as well but even in state kids don't all just automatically sign with LSU because of the name. If that were true the early 90's would never have happened to us.
