Miles is 8 years into a program that was already established when he arrived.

He recruits against almost no one for most of the kids who attend LSU.

Is he a good coach? Yes. But, there are more to a coach's W/L record than just his raw coaching ability.

After Chizik has a few more seasons under his belt, we'll be able to more accurately answer this question.

Right now, I like Chizik and I think the future of our program is bright. No reason to trade him.

How many years will Miles have to maintain the program (actually bring it to a higher level then Saban ever did)? I feel confident he could coach for another decade and some of his critics will still say it's because of a coach who was here 2 decades ago. We are way past Coker time period, 8 years later. It's funny how Meyer gets all the credit for his NC in year 2. What about Zook talent already there? How about Hallman in 90? Why couldn't he continue the winning tradition of the 88 SEC Champ tiger team just 2 years prior? After all, it's so easy in LA to recruit anybody can do it

Yeah, I agree with everything you said. I even said:

Is he a good coach? Yes

I am not taking anything away from him, just framing his success within the advantageous position he has the benefit of enjoying.

You're so quick to try to defend a slight that was never there to begin with. Slow your roll.

Why is it so important to you that a fan of another team want Miles as their team's coach rather than their own (in Auburn's case, a coach 99% of AU fans are satisfied with)?

Is your self-esteem really invested that much in LSU football and in Les Miles?
