I don't think this is the case, but I can't say the possibility doesn't exist. He has been getting lots of praise about how he has looked in the off-season, but that means very little.

Based only on what I saw last year--I don't follow Auburn's Qb battle in the offseason that closely--I would be incredibly surprised if Frazier developed into a competent passer. He is a good runner, but as the clip showed, is prone to making the wrong read on read run concepts. His decision making when allowed to throw was unimpressive.
AU folks say Frazier wasn't allowed to make decisions for himself - that every move he made was premeditated/scripted by Gus with no deviation or creativity from the QB. I thought at season's end that Frazier would have been better served to red-shirt and grow into Gus' offense.

It won't matter now anyway since they have a new OC, new scheme, terminology & playbook now in motion with Loeffler.

KF just looked young/green/lost - like any true freshman QB would look.

I don't know that it was that stringent, but he was almost always only allowed to run. When he was allowed to pass, it appeared, either by his own choice or as directed, that he knew where he was throwing the ball before the snap. Also, he never really had the chance to run a full series or ever get into the rhythm of a game.

I agree. I just hope his little experience has helped him grow and not damaged him instead.
