Mizzourah fans: How are y'all adjusting to the SEC mentality?

The mentality of we want to kick each others' asses on the field but when the game is over, we root for each other when one of us is playing a non-SEC team. Coming from the Big 12 its hard to have that mindset because I hated everyone in the conference for the most part. Why in the world would I want to root for LSU in a bowl game? Or Arkansas..? Maybe I'l root for all the east schools and maybe Ole Miss, but for the most part, I don't want divisional opponents winning. Its like the Big 12 North schools. I never had problems with them, but obviously, I loathed everyone in the Big 12 South.

Arky has a basketball national title, SC a couple in baseball, both have done well in other athletic fields in the SEC for 20 years but I don't think any amount of athletic success could have given us more SEC acceptance than adding 2 newer members.

I guess we will see more when the season starts how I feel, but so far I guess I don't really feel apart of the SEC. Once the games start I'm sure I'll feel different, but I do agree in the big bevo it was real easy to hate every other team.

SEC is the only conference that does that shite. If you compete with my school for recruits, then I wish nothing but the worst for your school's athletic success.

Palooza,
You understand the biggest difference between big 12 and sec fans...hatred. We (big 12 fans) understand true hatred. SEC fans only think they understand.
For what it's worth, I think a little hatred is a good thing. I'm not about peace, love, and harmony bullshite like most of you southern pansies...
