We beat you guys solidly in the regular season and finished the regular season ranked #2 nationally and had a much better record that you but you got a MULLIGAN.
We had nothing to lose and you took advantage.
Oh well, the SEC title meant nothing that year anyway.

I mean frick Florida beat you guys 44-15 and we beat Florida in the Swamp.
You guys also played a weaker schedule.
As far as I'm concerned there was a 1-1 split that season and we had the higher ranked, better team so we are the SEC champions.

Very good point. LSU in 2011 and Tennessee in 2001 are very similar.
Both national championship coaches with Chavis as the DC losing to Saban in a rematch game.
I would be surprised if LSU is ever able to rebound.

claim it...seriously....if it means that much to you....no biggie to us...WE weren't plalying for a shot at the NC...that's for sure...you were the only one's with something to play for...glad it worked out for you afterall....
