Mississippi - First in every bad category, last in every good category. Racism back in the day and some racism still today.

Louisiana - I've only lived here a year so it's kind of considered my 2nd home but of all the states I have been to, Louisiana has by far the worst drivers I've ever seen. They treat I-12 like the Autobahn sometimes. And the constant construction from Slidell to Baton Rouge. Frodo Baggains traveled to Mordor on better paved roads.

Drove OTR for 10 years so

this. Not sure why.

I think it is a mandate that a 3 month road construction project is not to be ended before 12 years. Again, not sure why.

For state highways and interstate Louisiana and Arkansas are the worst. Texas is outstanding.

Subjective , although I'll take your word for it. I have to admit MI's drivers are getting worse and worse, IMHO.

I'm sure it sucks, like any other place. SE michigan has been fricking pathetic with this since April. Seems like every damn major road has orange barrel after orange barrel. Ann Arbor, the Detroit suburubs, all over the place just sucks arse.
