Big 12 - Iowa State... Can't win the conference.
Pac 12 - no equivalent, other than Colorado and Utah, everyone has won the conference at least once in the last 20 years.
B1G - no equivalent... Every team outside of Nebraska has won the conference, but if u had to choose, I would put Purdue, they haven't won the conference outright since 1929.
ACC - no equivalent.
Best and most accurate is Iowa State.

To answer OP - saying a women's soccer championship = basketball championship since no one gives a shite outside of the big 3 sports is stupid...so as far as breaking down the big 3 sports...
Football Equivalent = UCLA
Basketball Equivalent = Georgetown
Baseball Equivalent = Pick a team without a championship
Football Equivalent = UCLA

Oklahoma State has a lot of national championships, but they've never won a national championship in football. I guess you're more like OK State.

And please provide me with a link that states that football is the only sport that encompasses an athletic program. Also, you might want to spread this information to all of the athletes competing in other sports. I'm sure they would love for you to walk up to them and tell them all of their hard work and dedication is pointless because their sport doesn't matter. I'd pay to see you get your arse beat by some softball chicks or a little 90 pound gymnast.

Mizzou has a similar number of NC's in relevant sports as Arkansas. And neither have won the conference in football in quite a while. So yeah I'd say they're similar.

Arkansas has 42 national championships in 5 different sports vs. Missouri's 2 national championships in 2 different sports.
Comparing the two is almost comical.
