Recruiting is half of a college coaches job, and he's an amazing recruiter. Recruits always talk about how Kirby's their "homeboy" and how they can talk to him about anything.
I know yall like to say he's some puppet, but he brings just as much to the coaching aspect as he does recruiting.
He's about as hands-on as you can get. He knows how to get the most out of 18-22 year olds and get them as motivated as possible. He's also our play caller for defense. If you watch any of our games you can always see him making calls, and yelling out adjustments. One that I'll always remember was during the UF game where he sniffed out the "jump pass" play, which resulted in a INT. Hes mastered Sabans D and its philosphy.
Whoever gets him will get a Jr Saban.

i don't knock his recruiting prowess, his abilities speak for itself. but georgia's needs aren't recruiting. sure, we could do better, but richt's issue hasn't really ever been talent. we need a proven commodity, a high name, someone who's price tag may be ridiculously overpriced but is the big name we need.
i want a guy who has shown a propensity for success and making the most of his situation. recruiting will follow. i mean,look at the talent under goff and donnan?
