The SEC Rant about to undergo some changes...how can you be prepared?

Ok, we are about to make some fairly big changes to the SEC forums on TigerDroppings.com.
First, we are moving them off of TigerDroppings.com and on to SECrant.com...this could happen today.
Your user account on TD will be the same on SR...that is, you will use the same username and password on both sites.
There will be a link at the very top right of every page to get you back to a few of the more popular TD forums, but we don't plan to list all 20 TD forums down the left side...too messy.
Ok, how can you help moving forward? For starters, please put more effort into your thread titles. In case you haven't noticed, thread with titles that are too short, have all caps, are not descriptive enough, are incomplete and/or are misleading are either anchored or deleted.
Your thread title should be descriptive and contain the point of your thread...2-3 key words doesn't state the exact point of your thread. If you have a question to ask, ask it fully in the thread title. If you are linking to a news article, often the headline of the article makes for a good thread title.
Other things to remember about thread titles:
1. DO NOT USE ALL CAPS IN THE THREAD TITLE OR INSIDE THE POST.
2. Do not cut off your thread title in order to get people to click your thread...eg, "The key to winning the game is..."
Bottom line: put more effort into your thread titles!
The new SECrant.com will have its own Help Board. Please use it to point out issues with the new site.
Each SEC school will have a team page. The team page will contain a list of topics from the SECrant forums about that school. Lower on the page, there will be useful links, by sport, for that school.
Eventually, the team page could evolve into a separate forum for that school and its fans.
Anyhow, that is all for now...the change could happen quickly and suddenly...when it does, see you on the other side.

I'm just worried there won't be enough traffic to keep those pages active enough to go to all of the time.

This is so exciting. It's great to see how much TD has grown in the past few years.
Congrats Chicken.

Wouldn't this destroy what the SecRant is? There's already Hogville, WoolyAL, VolNAtion, etc. I think this would be a mistake but either way....

Sounds good.
I would like to see a way to click on a topic and view only what you haven't read. Maybe there is a way and I just don't know it.

If a Kenny Korndog, Gary Gump, Dale Denton type is banned from the SEC Rant will he still be banned from the other boards ?

Oh the horror! So you're saying that the LSU fans can't use the "well, you're on an LSU site" argument any longer?

That argument died as soon as SECRant.com became the banner for this section of the site.

Yes. That would be a bad idea.
