This was discussed on the Tiger Rant a little while back, but a few of the posters over there said that the Kyle Field visitors' seats are some of the worst in the country.

They are the worst visitor seats I've ever sat in.

let me put it this way. if you ordered tickets, pray that your seats are in the north end zone upper deck because if you get lower bowl seats, you'll be staring at the side of the open end zone bleachers. i won't go back to kyle field until they finish their renovations.

Yeah, I'm not proud of where my school places visitors. I'm optimistic that our move to a more brotherly conference will shuffle alot of those seats to more convenient and appealing locations within Kyle Field.

That isn't your fault.

Those seats at the end of the horse shoe shouldn't even exist. What good are seats that you can't see a damn thing from? From those seats, you can't even watch the jumbotron because the angle is so bad.

Actually Daigeaux, they opened up more visitor friendly seats this year. They run from 149 down to 143 in the First Deck. From 143 to 147, Visitors get the first 20 rows. Section 143 is at the 40 yard line, first deck.

If you get the Upper North Zone, you are in 501-524, the top 20 rows.

Imagine you're standing in the open/south end zone of Kyle Field, facing north.

To your right is one main section of visitor's seats.

To your front, at the top left and right of the north end zone structure, are the other main visitor's sections. These are the better seats IMHO, especially if you know enough about football to watch protection schemes, defensive coverages, offensive formations, etc. It's like watching game film.

Well that's good to hear. I've always gotten tickets in section 149, and with the slight slope of the lower deck, you can't see jack. It's past the endzone staring at the side of the south end bleacher seats. LINK

Yeah, if you get 147 or 149, its not worth it IMO.

If I had to put a choice, if you don't get 143-146, I'd want 516-518 at the top. It's just like being at Bama's North End Zone (I sat up there for the LSU-Bama game this year).

No worries though. This conversation won't matter in 2014. We'll have a brand new stadium layout.

Im not so sure how brotherly the SEC is. Georgia used to put visitors in a good section of the lower bowl on the north stands. Now visitors are relegated to the upper deck almost entirely. Bama I think does the same. Keeps the enemy noise down.

Well, the fricktards we were in the same conference with would make you guys want to put them in nose-bleed/oxygen mask places too. God, I frickin' hate every last one of those cocksucking motherfrickers. You have no idea the kind of butthurt jealousy and backstabbing that went on in the SWC and Big 12. frick those losers. They were lucky we gave them any seats to begin with.

Here's to better visitor seats for SEC members.

Only 4.5 Big 12 schools traveled well. Nebraska, A&M, Texas, OU and Kansas State (when they were good).

The rest were a fricking joke when it came to bringing #s to road games.

Troof.

Example: Baylor would only bring less than 1000 to see their Heisman candidate at Kyle (90 miles away). Pathetic bunch of shite-stains.

Texas Tech traveled well to Kyle. I don't know about other places, but a lot of sluts from Lubbock came to College Station in my time there, which I never minded.

I am actually pretty curious myself to see where everyone is this year. They sold out season tickets really fast this year. First time in awhile.

If you bring a band, they will be put in the hell seats for sure.

With the large contingent that ya'll travel in, i wouldn't be surprised to see half get decent ones and the others get absolute crap seats. We haven't ever had to deal with giving out very many visitor seats before. Once Kyle Field is either renovated or rebuilt, it will be a much better situation for sure.

I would not expect anybody to bring a band.

I don't think anybody has brought a band to Fayetteville since we left the SWC.

Most of the bands only make trips that are a decent driving distance. None of that applies to A&M with anybody.
