Definitely better than the Reagan-era, sterile "multi-purpose building" piece of crap in Knoxville.

Thompson Boling Arena has 32 luxury suites, Mizzou Arena has 28, Thompson Boling Arena has 22 loge boxes, Mizzou Arena has 20. Every seat in Thompson Boling is newer and padded, the center-hung scoreboard is larger, the concourse was re-furbished more recently and has more television screens.

The locker rooms and team rooms are the only advantage for Mizzou, luckily we are doing a large renovation on those areas after the 2012-13 season.

Outside of the exterior, in what way is Mizzou Arena superior?

While I won't go out on the limb and declare Mizzou Arena the best in the SEC, it's a beautiful, modern facility that we are damn proud of. I think future visiting SEC fans coming to our campus will agree.

Trust us when we say Mizzou understands entering the SEC and facility upgrades that must follow. We are in the beginning phases of doing just this and the power brokers are shifting our direction towards this goal.
