He beat Sylvester Croom one time. He won an independence bowl. He almost won a bunch of games such as Boise, LSU a couple of times, his Mom pulls for him hard . . . that's all I got.

ETA: How could I forget?!? His loss to UK last year was the result of a fatalist eventuality.

Was his first season not good for what he had? We had the same record as Kiffin did his first year(Im counting UNC a win because he did beat them) with a much harder schedule and less talent.

He has recruited great for the circumstances UT has been in, and is usually the first guy to offer a player before they blow up so he is good at evaluating talent. Examples are Patterson, Peters, Santos, Peterman, Jordan Williams, and Mo Couch. I expect it to be a lot better if he can win ball games this year.

Last year was bad but the circumstances were hard to overcome. He lost his 4 best players, including the qb and best reciever. In a pass offense like UT's was last year, its going to be a problem. Look what happened when Keenum went down in 2010. Sumlin went 5-7.
