No opponent should be overlooked...I've learned this from the Arkansas state game.

I guess I just don't feel like the A&M fans are going to be nearly as excited for this game and up for the trip over to watch it when they will have the chance to make the trip to so many new SEC venues. I could be wrong though

People will be excited because its the first game of the year, but will be much more excited for the following week.

La Tech isn't exciting anyway you slice it.

HeartbreakTiger... we get it, you hate A&M. The SEC accepted A&M because we increased your TV footprint by 50% and will increase the SEC TV deal by many millions. That and as an athletic department, we have been a top 10 AD for the past 4 years. We all know Football is what matters, but to the SEC front offices and Athletic Directors, a full bodied Athletic Department is what matters.

LA Tech is pretty good....

They should have beat TCU in the Poinsettia Bowl last year. I think we were really lucky to win that one. They had us on the ropes. A lot of TCU homers will say that we just didn't care to be there and that we didn't give our full effort but thats not true. They were just a better team than we were for most of the game until we wore them down late.

They should be solid this year and go undefeated in the WAC. I actually think A&M will lose one of the two games @ SMU and @ LA Tech

Thanks for the analogy Utah State and Samford.

we played at utah state and samford...how did i miss this.

We're not making fun of your cup cakes...we're making fun of the fact that you go on the road to play them.

love that place, but as far as the game goes Tech will take the lead in the 4th only to blow it in the last minute. Book it.

Everyone saying A&M will get punked by power running in the SEC can't have it both ways ... the A&M Defense will be seeing nothing but Air Raid Offense all Fall Camp before this game.

But with a bigger OL and better athletes than LaTech

honestly i see it being close in the 4th closer than most think but I'd say A&M by a field goal

I think Tech could beat four or five teams in the SEC. Why doesn't Mighty LSU play them instead of picking on Tulane.

You guys try switching conferences and putting together a quick football schedule ...

do you guys still have only 3 opponents scheduled for out of conference games in 2012?

was La Tech the 4th or is there still a TBA?

That is almost as bad as MSU playing @UAB and @Troy in back to back years...

Don't forget about @ South Alabama next year.

We have 4. We messed around with our schedule, dropped McNeese State, added La Tech and made Sam Houston St. the 4th.

LSU plays La Tech, La Monroe, and La Laff fairly regularly. 3 times in the last decade for Tech.

Tulane used to be a real rival - but LSU backed out of playing them every year recently.

La Tech always gives SEC teams a run for there money....don't be surprised if La Tech pulls this one out

Tech has no chance. We finally have a legit coach. They don't have a prayer against the offense we'll put out there. It will be a cakewalk.

It's in Shreveport... not Ruston.

There will be more Ags there, so not really a home game for La Tech.

Zackly what you guys always say about the Arky game in Dallas... only to be outnumbered

Aggies don't travel well. Hell I wouldn't want to be seen in public with aggie fans so I don't really blame them.

I'm saying prove it but spin all you like. UGA outnumbered you in ShreveBo 2009 and LSU again in Dallas 2010. Arkansas has done it 3 years straight...again, in your backyard.

All we're saying is prove it.

UGA in 2009 -- False
LSU in 2010 -- False
Arky last year -- yeah, two years before that FALSE.

But keep pulling shite out of your arse.
