Its part of being a fan. I try to remain completely realistic every season, but the fan in you always has that optimism that you'll overachieve.

Diffently Hogville. It's always been bad but recent events have made it totally unreadable.

Tebow fans v. Gator fans

As great as Tim was at UF and as poorly as the last two seasons have gone, unfortunately there's so many that won't let go of the guy and don't have much to discuss on the current team. This doesn't apply to any of the UF posters here (from what I've seen), they've been great, actually.

I root for TT to do well in the NFL, and he's clearly one of my favorite Gators of all time, but that's a small pet peeve of mine. /rant

Tebow always seemed to be bigger than the program... at least that's how I perceived it as an outsider.

A nagging, persistent inferiority complex despite having arguably the best decade of any program in the country, let alone the SEC.

Debbie Downer UT fans... yes, the last few years have sucked. When you spew your pessimistic bs, it makes it suck that much more for the rest of us.

I think this happened because you went from a pile of shite to a pile of gold real fast. Your fanbase was beaten and bruised in the 90s from a decade of suckage.

Luckily, DiNardo left talent, and Saban developed it and brought in even better talent. I think it takes at least a decade, if not two to completely change the mindset of a WHOLE fanbase.

A&M was the 9th winningest team in the 80s/90s and our fanbase just expected it and continued to do so in the 2000s, despite the fact we were starting to slip into the depths of CFB Hell. There is still a sizeable portion who expect 80s/90s results, but if we meander through Hell much longer, that tide may change.

I hate the fact that there are so many AU fans that spend way too much time concerming themselves with Alabama and what they are doing and what their coaches are doing and what their players are doing.

They act just like Bama fans...focusing on the rival and not their own team.

I wish more AU fans were like me. I cannot name 3 coaches on the Bama staff and have no idea who the starters are next year. Why...cause I follow Auburn, not Alabama.

Nice bait.

All the things rival fans hate about Alabama fans, I pretty much hate as well.

1) Those racist Douche bags (those that yell N****R at people and so on..usually is together with number 2 below)

2) Those unable to handle alcohol Douche bags (hate this about all fan bases, not just Bama's)

3) Annoys me the blue hairs that don't stand or watch the game while in the stadium.

4) People who spend more time on their iPhone than watching the game while in the stadium.

Your coach is a job hopper. That's all that says. Most coaches whom wins BCS games don't change schools. Congrats. Your EX coach was a job hopper.

Too much ESPN.
The only other NCAA head coach job Petrino left was the Louisville job, and that was to go to the Falcons. If you want to see some job hopping, not that it's a bad thing, check out John Thompson's resume (defensive coordinator at Arkansas State).

All of the old people that have season tickets at Rupp Arena. I respect that they have earned those seats. However, the fact still remains that they never stand, or cheer loudly and are a main reason why Rupp Arena isn't one of the loudest venues.

I've seen an old lady knitting during a Basketball game there.....

Students and alums that cheer for their hometown team over their alma mater. Usually GDI's and fat girls. Typical culprits: Kentucky and Georgia

Season ticket holders that will bring a friend or give away tickets to a friend just because we're playing that person's team. Said friend usually pays back the gift by being the most obnoxious person in the stadium.

to add to that most of the birmingham area is well refined but the rest of the state (with the exception of a few other major cities) is so backwoods redneck its embarassing some of the pictures that could be taken on any given game day (if any of you aubies are honest you'll agree with that)

The correct answer on the first page by a Bammer no less! Well done sir. Well done.

There are too many OM fans who care about the social aspect of football gamedays than the actual football itself. If our fans cared as much about the game and the product on the field as they do about the Grove and the Square then we'd be a damn fine athletics program.

It's not that I'm anti-Grove or something. I love the Grove and the Square and the social aspect of gamedays, but I LOVE football and really, really want Ole Miss to do well. I don't think a lot of our fans feel that way.
