For those interested. South Carolina's first victory over a #1 ranked team, first CBS victory since 1995, Alabama's first regular season loss since the 2007 Iron bowl, and Greg McElroy's first loss since middle school. I have this etched into my brain from Verne and Gary. Enjoy.

I was fortunate to be at that game. The place was rocking. Garcia was on fire. Alshon made the Alabama secondary his personal bitch. Alabama's running game did virtually nothing against the SCar defense, but McElroy was on fire that day. I don't think anyone could have beaten South Carolina that day.

Good game for USC, if had to lose to a team that year, USC was a good choice. Bama had leadership issues.

That was awesome. I remember watching that happen while tailgating in Gainesville.
BTW, how much drugs and alcohol were consumed by Garcia after that performance? I bet it was epic!

2005 LSU lived through that.
Alabama could have had 2 weeks off and they still would have lost. South Carolina was just better.

First of all, it was 6 not 8. second, SC was the first one of the 6. third, of other 5, bama had one bye week also, and bama played GA state(moved to a thurs
