We hate orange. In the words of Sandra Bullock: "I will not wear that gaudy orange. It is not in my color wheel and I will not wear it."

I don't own a single piece of orange clothing

I agree with the kid, it's easy to hate Tennessee especially in the 90's as a Gator fan.
shite, try being a Bama fan in the 90s living in Tennessee. Pure fricking hell. Which is why I am entitled to be a dick. I earned that shite.

I never realized how much LSU fans hated Alabama fans until a) Saban came and then b) I started posting here. I always thought we were kind of friends...

The sad thing is, Tennessee has a better record than aTm since 05.

Wow.

Double wow. If UT needs to find another gear, A&M needs to find about 3 more.

Blogosphere is a skewed view of reality. I'm forever grateful for Coach Saban turning program around. Also I can separate Tide Nation from Updyke types.

I fricking hate Tennessee.

Growing up, when I cared most about Alabama football, Tennessee beat us...7 years in a fricking row. I can still remember that 34-14 arse whooping in 2002, that was so satisfying.

I just went to look to see exactly when they were good...They haven't won as much over the years as I thought they had.

Possible sleeping giant. With demise of SWC, it was a boon to LSU recruiting in East Texas. With B12 in, let us say, a state of flux, A&M, with right staff can do well.

We have been pretty mediocre since 2000.

But we are 13 games better than A&M from 2000-2011.

Unbelievable to me that they have been that bad.

It'll be interesting to see how they do without being under the shadow of Texas for sure.

I always pulled for Alabama over Tennessee. I hated Fulmer so much it hurt. I know it must have sucked when Fulmer ratted out bama too.

Fran

And to a lesser extent Sherman.

We were pretty far behind in facilities and such until the mid 2000's, and we're still a bit behind honestly for being a big program in Texas. When Tennessee was really good (Peyton, Tee Martin, first BCS champ) were some of my earlier memories regarding college football. I'm sure Tennessee will be back.

The absolute worst part was knowing he just did it because he lost the bidding war. But it caught up with him.
