sorry I don't pay attention to irrelevant coaches and a school whose most famous sport is their jazz band.

Why was he at North Texas for 11 years then?
Waiting on LSU.
He said he has interviewed for 3 or 4 jobs, but he never left because it wasn't a good fit. He said people always talk about Duke, Carolina, Kansas and UCLA, "for me, that's LSU."
We are going up tempo

he's from Louisiana. Played for LSU. Was an assistant for LSU. His dream job is LSU. Why is that so hard to believe?

If i were a head coach i would rather coach at LSU than those schools as well since it's my alma mater. That's not that difficult to understand.

because any coach that says for them the LSU job is equal to Kanasas, UNC, Duke, Kentucky, UCLA is clearly out of their damn mind....
If any of those schools were offering him then I couldn't imagine him staying at LSU and coaching. That's just crazy talk.

The guy is a solid coach and excellent recruiter. He’s an ex-player who bleeds purple and gold and everyone in the state / ex-players / coaches knows and supports him. He should keep the in-state talent like Big Baby, Tyrus, Temple, Thornton etc. in state. And that’s all this lowly LSU program could hope for. I’m happy.
