Why do give a frick about his wife? Is she going to be coaching receivers or something? Just godamn stupid.
I don't care about his pshychotic wife at all, just simply stating that both of those fricksticks can stay at A-state.

Arkansas wouldnt hire Malzahn this year anyways. He would want to run his offense, but that wouldnt have spring to put the offense in. They are going to have to stick with the same system and the same coaches. they will just want to bring in a defensive minded coach (doubt that happens) or stick with a current coach as an interim and bring in another position coach to alleviate some of the pressures on planning and decision making for the guy with the temporary top spot

A "top 10 template" for Arkansas is having a coach who runs a dynamic offense, who is a proven evaluator of talent and is willing to recruit near and far to get the best 20-25 players we can get. The University of Arkansas has a lot to offer and the coaching staff just has to be willing and able to find them.
I’ve said this before and it’s worth repeating. Not every player who grows up in Texas, Alabama, Mississippi, Florida, Missouri, Kansas, California, Arizona, New Mexico, New Jersey, Oklahoma, etc. want to say and play in their home state. Arkansas just has to have the right system to garner their interest and find the 20-25 players every year who likes what Arkansas has to offer.

But, but, but... That high school offense won't work in the SEC.

it doesn't without a video game at QB. See: Auburn vs. Alabama or LSU without the benefit on Cam'ron.

does Arkansas really want Malzahn's offense with the personnel they have right now on offense? Wilson isn't exactly the fleetest of foot. I'd rather have him back there slinging it and handing it to Knile if I were them...
Where do people get this idea that a Malzahn offense has to have a mobile QB? At Springdale HS and at Arkansas he had Mitch Mustain. Then at Tulsa he had a top 5 in the nation offense with a white gunslinger. He then turned a very very bad offense at AU into a top 30 one with Chris Todd. His only bad offense was last year with virtually nothing to work with but an unstable HB and a decent WR. He's great at running an offense and adapting.

Did you miss the 2009 Iron Bowl?
Maybe that offense didn't work because LSU's defense was, and has been, so good as if late? The QB wasn't the only problem this hear so that would be a bad example. We had pressing needs on offensive line.

I like Garrick McGee but I’m sure he isn’t the only one that meets that criteria. I really can’t compile a list because I haven’t had the opportunity to talk with any of the potential coaches nor will I and I just don’t know what’s available. However, I do believe there are plenty of great college coaches out there, some are head coaches and some are assistants, who would be a perfect for Arkansas. They just haven’t been given the opportunity yet.
Arkansas is a great job. Fayetteville and NW Arkansas is a fantastic area to live in, the Hogs have great state-wide fan support, Arkansas has fantastic facilities, we are a program who isn’t going to demand that a coach has to win the SEC every other year or he will be fired and we are capable of paying very, very well. Long just needs to do a great job with his due diligence.
I’m fairly confident that most SEC fans didn’t know who Nick Saban was when he was at Toledo, the Cleveland Browns or even Michigan State or Mark Richt when he was to East Carolina or the OC at Florida State but they were nonetheless great “undiscovered” coaches at that time. Same thing for Bob Stoops when he was the Co-Defensive Coordinator at Kansas State or the Defensive Coordinator at Florida and the list goes on and on.
One thing I’m very confident about is that the Hogs will get a great head coach and he will continue to build on what Petrino has started.

And Arkansas would be fools to make a hire like this based on who Tyler Wilson will like most for his 1 remaining year.

the spread works so good that one year after cam leaves chizik scraps it completely and florida falls apart- literally- without Tebow.

He had better stats in 2009 than McCarron had last season. STATS.
