He should have been fired for the 20k and the hiring practice of JD.
He endangered the university to employment and discrimination lawsuits from the other 2 that were interviewed as well as the other 158 applicants that were not hired.
There is a possible HR nightmare for the school coming...possible. All it will take is one of those applicants filing a claim and the shite storm will be huge.

Well, and his family and all the football players he recruited. Other than that yes the fans suffer the most

I will be the fan at an indislosed bar in Dallas wearing a hoodie over my head in shame.
Pretend Sherman is still your coach and we can drink our misery away.

Yeah if his professional life was as good as his personal life then we would have been 100 percent good.

yep, sometime it last in love and sometimes it hurts instead. :(

I wanted him to stay until I heard the rest of the story. I'm still pretty upset about the whole situation, though.

No choice, can't hire a mistress at a public institution and give her 20 grand. I'm sure Petrino will argue that it was for recruiting, but it wouldn't matter if it was.
fricking shite.
fricking shite.

My question is whether you would have sex time with BP for 20k.

I really was on the Keep CBP I did not care about the affair, but then the way he painted the picture about the way he acted just made me understand he had to go. The only thing that suck is I am worried about what direction we go in the next hire, I just do not want to fall back from the momentum we were gaining.Oh well I guess we will soon find out. The one question I have listening to the PC, JL clearly stated he gave the girl 20k with out the proper reporting procedures, then backtracked and said he wouldn't comment if it was CBP personal money or the UA's, isn't that the very definition of misappropriation of funds, a criminal offense? Wonder if anything comes of that?
