Starting to feel like the easy way out may be taken. I hope not because it will be convoluted and tortured in its logic, legality and application.

Then, the Arky fanbase and ATH Dept are going to face a non stop withering assault the entire time he is there. What you've experienced to date is a mere good natured ribbing compared to the dogs of hell you will experience. Your competition will use this to their advantage in every way possible, and rightfully so, because you will have given them the hammer to destroy you. You will never live this down, and will come to rue the day your AD didn't flush this turd.

Having said that, I really hope you do the right thing, for your sake.

Just like the competition uses the Pinkel DWI? The certainly seems to have caused Missouri so many recruiting woes. A top recruit would never consider going to there would they? o wait...
