Correct me if I am wrong, but hasn't Arkansas recently been having a problem with player arrests/discipline?

I'm not saying that is more than any other SEC school or anything but just thought I have heard recently of some problems like that on the team.

The reason I am saying that is because players could begin to lose more respect for Petrino and begin having more discipline problems within the team. It's a possibility.

if Ark was concerned about moral and ethical issues, it would have taken Petrino to talk for his classless, televised cursing of Les Miles at last year's LSU game...

We don't know whether he was or wasn't. Often discipline for things like that are done in private and not published.

No. I know how the coaches families pretty much stay together on bowl trips. Wives/kids go to everything on those trips.

As I told hoim last night, total BS story.

Ummm, probably not. If you were in that situation, would you tell your boss (the head coach) to sheath his pork sword?

Can't say I would or not if I was in the situation.

Just seems like this wasn't the average affair. There is too much to lose in this situation for anyone that is thinking rationally. Petrino obviously was not thinking rationally

Isn't his brother on staff? If other coaches knew (which seems obvious), why wouldn't his brother tell him how moronic & risky it is to bone a subordinate?

Also, for the Arky fans wanting him to stay, if the OP is true does it not bother you that the other coaches are meeting and instead of being there and preparing he's out riding Jessica?

Do you want him to stay or go?

How do most Pig fans feel? Keep him or boot him?

I want the football coach to stay. I want the a-hole to either take sever punishment or hit the road.

I think most fans want him to stay. I also think most boosters with deep pockets want him to stay.

The OP was simply passing along scuttlebutt. No where did he say any of the "facts" justified the situation. Try again Al.

He doesn't have the reading comprehenison to seperate fact from commentary....So sad

Given his ongoing history of self-centered behavior. Do you believe a rehabilitation of sorts is even possible?

To me these are the two most damning things.

Coaches were in a meeting when accident happened Sunday.

I would hope that the HC would be at staff meetings.

Other coaches also knew about affair.

This of course doesnt say that they approved or tried to stop it but it does prove that CBP didnt care to keep it hidden. Its a fairly loose use of power letting it be known that he is having an affair and not doing much to keep it secret.

When they are the same person something has to give, no?

I sort of understand where you guys are coming from but I wouldn't want to keep him. You are so close to getting to the top you don't want it to end but this type of behavior for man supposedly leading young men is unforgivable IMO.

I would want Boom, Spur, Urban gone if they did something like this.

I get it though.

The first thought I had, even prior to the "rest of the story", was WTF was he doing out riding his bike on the Pig Trail in the middle of Spring Practice. He can take some time off to go riding AFTER Spring Ball is over.

Yeah, that's weird.

"Hey fellas, go ahead and have this football meeting without me. I'm going to take a ride on my new Hog".

Hmmmmmmmm...
