Clowney clowned on fools this year.....and he's going to be a sophmore this coming season.

Dude may go to the NFL....unless he has to be at least a junior to declare for the draft.

I thought Ronald Powell was supposed to be in the this company?

I'm taking the homer pick, but big props for Clowney. Hopefully he hits a so. slump if we play.

Next season, we'll still have Devin Taylor, who's an All-SEC-caliber DE opposite Clowney. We will also see more contributions fr

He is good but not all sec caliber, when all sec is Clowney and Sam M. He isnt lose to being as good as either right now.

Taylor was 1st team All-SEC by Associated Press, Rivals, and Phil Steele and 2nd-team All-SEC by the league coaches in 2010...he fell off that level but was still and honorable mention All-SEC by the AP in 2011.

By most opinions, you play well enough during your college career to earn legitimate All-conference honors, then you are an All-conference caliber college player....

Requiem's statement could actually end up being true. We are definitely in the top 3.

I got railed for saying that we are the deepest. That does not necessarily mean I think they are the best. I also think that we have a top 3 DL.

Collins is better than Cyrus.

Whatever you say.

Nobody really wants to watch Clowney absolutely embarrass Collins again.

We have the deepest DL in the SEC.

But does that translate to "the best"?

It's a shame that South Carolina didn't land Montgomery...would have been awesome to see a Gamecock DL with Clowney and Montgomery as our book-end DEs...

Yeah that would be nasty.

I'm so ready to watch Clowney again this year. Just a matter of time before he bats a ball, picks it, and returns for a TD.

Seems like he did that 10 times in HS highlight films.

A three way race between Clowney, Lemoneir (sp?) and Montgomery imo. Who is the biggest beast?

They're actually all pretty close in size, speed, physical maturity and demonstrated ability at the position. I give Clowney the edge just because he was so impressive so young. Montgomery had roughly equal credentials coming out, but the early injury has probably kept him slightly in second place to Clowney. Lemonier has lived up to his hype, so far and is right there with Clowney and Montgomery.

I probably have them Clowney 1, Montgomery 2a and Lemonier 2b, but it's almost 1a, 1b, and 1c (Clowney does not have the supporting cast, on defense, that Lemonier has, to say nothing of Montgomery's defensive cohorts, which justifies his slight edge).

Cyrus and Clowney were the top 2 recruits in their class, right? That is why I would like to see the match up.
