You can say he won't be fired until you are blue in the face but the only thing that will shut them up is if another scandal pops up between now and kickoff. Of course he won't be fired. Only smart people know this. Unfortunately, there's not many of those people who post on here. Let them get it in. I know I would be if it happened at another school and that's only fair. He's still coaching and he will be for quite some time as long as he continues to win.

I wouldn't be so sure and definite on BP continuing to coach at Arkansas.

It appears that BP knew that it would be bad to be caught with Dorrell. So he left the scene after telling another driver that he shouldn't call 911 and had the person driving him to the hospital drop Dorrell off near her car before he met with the state trooper (who provides security for the footbal season apparently). Next BP told his boss that he was alone for the accident and then had a press conference a few days later where he stated that he was alone (since he didn't know that the other driver called 911 and there was another trooper checking out the accident). Then he didn't tell his boss that his recently hired assistant (who was hired on the first day the job opened apparently) was the person riding with him during the accident until right before the police report was released. Oh and that he crashed, not on a curve like previously stated, by on the straight bit before a curve (at least that's arguable).

So he lied to the public and most importantly, to his superior at the very least. There is also evidence that he attempted to cover up the true circumstances of the crash using a state trooper contact and that he might have violated sexual harassment policy. OR at the very minimum, BP appeared to act improperly in the hiring of Ms. Dorrell.

And that doesn't even get into the sticky business of whether this young lady is/was engaged to another staff member at Arkansas.

Just saying, it looks pretty bad from my viewpoint.

You have an AD that doesn't like nor trusts him. You have a major scandal that is going to cost the University a ton of cash in lawsuits. There is no way IMO to keep Petrino, if you do be prepared to pay 6 million in lawsuits to keep him, not to mention the bad press on the recruiting trail.

Just a solid bump, that's all.
