yes it would be 07 cause then it went Florida 1 loss Bama undefeated Barner undefeated Bama 1 loss

Yeah and that was kind of a down year for the west. Alabama wasn't strong yet. Auburn was on the decline under Tubs. State didn't have Merlins. Ole Miss still sucked. Arkansas was alright and just played great against LSU.
LSU was really the only strong team from the west that year. It has been a different animal ever since.
