Sorry, pdiddy! I was distracted by how we're kicking arse in the bevo tourney game!

Don't tell Benny though - he thinks we do nothing but choke in March.

Now the victim play?

Priceless. You are pulling all the stops.

"Meth Heads", "Special Ed" are just a few of your "ad hominems" dropped in this thread.

You got blown up Ben. Sorry its hard for you to handle.

The point you are making now is NOT the point you started out with. It morphed as each variation you pulled out of your arse was white washed with citations and facts.

Thank you for hammering home my point. I called the move for TCU and WVU a lateral one - perhaps that was misleading to you. Perhaps that has a different meaning to you. The point I was trying to make - the point that was completely ignored by you - is that I think the transition to the new league for TCU and WVU will be less turbulent than yours to the SEC. While their records over the next 10 years will not be identical to their records over the previous 10, they will nonetheless see similar success in the Big 8. This is something I believe. So...the connection I am making is that when a team can switch leagues and see similar results - which I BELIEVE these two teams will do, then that is what I equate to a lateral move. And I do not back off of my belief that the step up from Big East and MW to Big 12 is not as great as the step up from Big 12 to SEC. That's not to say that the top of the Big 12 isn't close to the SEC's top. OU and OSU are. But the quality depth is not that much greater than the other 2 conferences. And in the middle and bottoms of the league is where those two will make their way. Disagree. It's fine. That's just my opinion.

In response to earlier ad hominem attacks. Nothing more.

Yeah but could you imagine having to deal with the WVU fanbase every year?? My dad lived in Charelston for a year, he said they are the most rediculous, irrational fanbase out there. A near- LSU rowdiness, Alabama-like attitude, with a Vanderbilt sized trophy case

I have never even met a West Virginia fan, but based on this description I feel like I now know the West Virginia fan base very well.

Well you're a stubborn one, I will give you that.

The Mountain West Confernece is not even close to the Big 12.

The Big East is NOT close to the Big 12.

WVU and TCU are making a much larger step up in competition that Mizzou and aTm.

You can argue its your "opinion" all day long. You are entitled to it and you are also entitled to be completely wrong based on everything that has been already argued in this thread.

That's the crux really. You are holding onto an opinion that has been factually raped of all its credibility.

I'm done with your circular logic Ben. Off to watch Mizzou finish of this shellacking they are putting on OSU in the Big 12 tourney...how did Arkansas do today in the SEC tourney Ben?

You continue to reinforce what I know about your fan base. You grossly underestimate what you are about to face week-in and week-out in the sec. Rude awakening

Enjoy your game. Tell Frank haith to send mike Anderson a candy bouquet for recruiting his team for him and coaching em up.

No one at Mizzou misunderstands what a grind it will be to play in the SEC. Most all Mizzou fans I know are very respectful of the challenges thisw will be. Do you not see how incredibly hypcritical this sounds when you think that there will be no week in and week out grind for teams coming from the Big Least and the MWC, the MWC Ben. Holy hell you are in over your head here.

The facts however are this:

The MWC is a mid major conference. The Big 12 is the 2nd best football conference behind the SEC.

The Big East is a little better than the MWC.

The only possible reason you would form the opinion you have is it validates your inner flame of hate towards Mizzou and somehow, in the corner of your very strange mind( ad hominem!), makes perfect sense.

Thats cool and all but dont expect people to not call you out or to take you seriously when you are so intellectually dishonest.

SEC
Big 12
B1G
PAC
ACC
BE?

Where is the MWC in this ranking?

Thanks for the laughs Ben.

I think the step up is greater for you than you realize. You don't. I fully expect Missouri homers to disagree. That's cool. Doesn't make me dishonest or stupid. I simply think the facts you chose to support your position will not predict performance as teams shuffle around.

Now...you be careful out there

This thread demands that David Boren travel to Morgantown and poses with West Virginia President James P. Clements so they can tell us how many combined National Merit Scholars they have.

So the step up from the 2nd Best BCS conference to the 1st is greater than the step up from a mid major to the 2nd best BCS conference?

And you call us "homers"...

Some of you Hogs are a disgrace to all things intelligent and logical.

Don't laugh. The good citizens of West Virginia can sell a few hundred porch couches per township and raise the money to pay one or two to go to WV. Boren can show them his blueprint. If it's possible to pay them to live in Oklahoma for a few years the same can be done in WV.

Hopefully they can count that high - it's not likely, but possible they could run out of fingers.

People forget TCU has been on the big stage in bowl games and held their own.

They also have Texas talent on their roster......

They take about 2-3 Texas kids a year who could potentially start at a Texas or even an A&M.

What you see at TCU is the culmination of coaching and shite competition. It's very simple. Who knows though, with their new 45k seat stadium, they could really start making noise.

No one forgets that. They still played in a crappy conference. It's the whole meat grinder SEC argument. They won't be top tier in the Big Who frickin Cares.

No that's just stupid. Your previous conference was a mid major. Therefore you can't compete in the big 8. Watch your back Marty. Missouri folk stick together and they don't take kindly to people who don't think they are destined to dominate the sec next year and forever more.
