This is 100% true.
Also, without stepping on too many Mizzou toes, I'd like to say you will probably hear people in Columbia recommend Buckingham's if you ask about BBQ. Don't get your hopes up, it is a meager northern interpretation of BBQ. IMO there are much better restaurants in Columbia (and I've been there too many times to count).

There's better BBQ in Columbia than this. I like Smokin' Chick's, and Hoss's, both of which will cater/deliver for tailgates. There are other options too.
