attack this season.
- AJ McCarron at QB
- Duron Carter, Kenny Bell, DeAndrew White, Amari Cooper, Chris Black, and maybe Eddie Williams at WR
- Dee Hart and TJ Yeldon out of the back field
- An O-Line with two first round guys, two very talented guys, and one guy who was a beast when he played last season before he got injured
- New OC who should help progress AJ
- Plenty of great RBs who can keep the D honest.

I fully expect us to win the West and make a serious run at the national championship.

offense will definitely be key for us. & since we'll more than likely have RBs by committee instead of one solid back.. I can see most of our production coming from the passing game.

I fully expect you to not win the West.

Good thing you don't need one of these to achieve the other.

Yep. You just need a team that finishes.

I admire your optimism but Alabama will not be winning the West this season, and very possibly won't even finish second.

you probably thought that Alabama wouldn't win the NCG.

A receiving corp with 46 combined career catches and two RBs that have never played a down of college football.

I see everyone saying we're going to run RB by committee, but Lacy can be the guy. I think we might do a "Second RB by committee" and just let Hart/Fowler/Yeldon take turns being the guy behind Lacy, but Lacy rushed for near 700 yards as a back up with an injury for most of the season. If he stays healthy he'll be a threat behind that Offensive Line.

Put down the spike d80 harvey.

no question he's talented enough to be the main guy but he seems to get hurt a lot & he's had problems fumbling in the past. I just think we're too deep at RB to not play some of the other guys.

It's possible if Alabama can get past LSU and Arkansas.

It's widely accepted that there are a lot of "tools" at alabama.

A thread full of opinions why Alabama won't win anything in 2012. When will people learn? I think we've heard similar arguments every off-season.

For sure. LSU fans were positive that we would not get into the NCG, and then when we did, they were positive that we would lose. They are not very good at predicting the future.

They're too busy rolling in tonights "restored order" victory to focus on football. Haven't you heard LSU became a basketball school tonight.
