He had one pretty good possession on defense. He forced Hamilton into a turnover. Obviously there's still a lot of work to do there though. Hopefully that comes with experience. He is starting to earn a few more minutes.

My expectations going into this year were always that he would be able to play ~10 solid minutes next year, and then maybe be a starter or the first or second guy off the bench as a senior. He looked like crap early on and I started to hope that he would just be able to contribute as a senior, but now he seems to have maybe had a light come on. It would be nice if he could really improve his defense and rebounding in the offseason. He could be an asset for us with Green being gone one way or the other.

If Grant does not sign a quality post player next year is going to be more of the same. Green is obviously a problem guy and he is not going to be there next year. Might as well get rid of him and get the guys minutes who are going to be there next year.
