What's crazy to me is the fact that this so far superior Alabama team on which LSU could not even cross mid-field was beaten by that very same LSU team in THEIR home stadium on a Saturday night in one of the biggest games in the history of that stadium. I know missed FGs, miss opportunites, etc. However, the Alabama team I see talked about on this board was so clearly superior that there is just no way possible that team lost AT HOME to a far inferior LSU team.
This is a flame.....these two teams would have split a 10 game series with a slight edge to Alabama meaning I could see Alabama going 6 - 4. What no one from Alabama will admit when using Jan 9th as the proxy for everthing comparable with these two teams is that LSU played by far it's worst game of the season and Alabama played close to it's best (mainly a perfect gameplan and a ridiculously perfect night from Mcelroy).

There was one (1) TD scored in both of those games. Out of two games, LSU could not score a single TD.
