What do you base that on? I'm just curious how people who are completely unqualified to judge a scout's talent (which is 99.9% of message board posters) come to the conclusion that one site is superior and one is garbage. All the sites have their strengths. They all make mistakes and miss on recruits, too. The key to me is when all of the sites, each with (hopefully) objective scouts, rate a kid very highly.

Jc Shurburtt,Gerry Hamilton,Barton Simmons,Justin Hopkins,ect.. are very reliable and they have been before working at 247. Recruits are high on them and give them allot of info/interviews, they don't miss much or put out bad info.

Like you said, all sites have their strengths and weaknesses. Some sites may evaluate and rank certain positions better. As far as overall evaluations and player rankings go, I trust them more than anyone. Rivals (who was built by 247's owner) lost allot of their top analyst last year, so I'm not sure they can be considered more reliable right now. Scout has it's strengths but the ranking system is bad imo Way to many 4 & 5 stars + a depressing layout. ESPN is luginbill and that stuttering fat guy ranking whoever plays in their under armor game highest.
