Things changed with the 25 rule. If this was a year ago, Alabama would have signed Philon. Alabama will likely have 1-2 non-qualifiers in this bunch, but won't have anyone to take those spots this time around. That's the crux of the situation. I doubt we're at the 85 limit come August. More like 83 or 84.

How so? Per NCAA you can only sign 25. They would have still greyshirted him, they just wouldnt have told him until everyone qualified.

You all are taking 26 I believe you have only 23 sr's some of which I believe are walk ons, how many Jr's declared? 3? Unless some processing happens(which I dont since it doesnt need to happen) you will have a full 85 on scholarship, your full 2011 roster is 119 I believe.

Under the new rules everyone who signs a LOI counts against this class. I am sure that everyone who signs is going to make it. That is why Gladney did not sign.
