Kinda hard to judge based on that tape since those look like a bunch of small, weak, slow white kids. He moves pretty well for a big guy though. Should be a solid RT or guard for us.

possibly...

1. Competition in his division is terrible.
Harding Academy, First Assembly, Rossville, Fayette Academy... None could stand toe to toe with the larger Memphis private schools like ECS, Christian Brothers, and Briarcrest.

2. He is legit

3. He needs to work on center of gravity and tends to block high at times , but that might have more to do with the height of his competition.

4. Also has trouble with the more Athletic DLinemen that are more physical. He didn't see many last year though. Run blocking is superb, but it will be interesting to see him against SEC talent.

Bottom line is it will be like any other Big recruit that plays at a small private school.. You have to wait and see if they can hold their own against guys that are their equal.

5. IDK about grades.

He was running around in circles on a couple of those looking for someone to fall on. Nose would probably be ideal for him.
