I wouldn't go quite as far as saying Florida is a powerhouse, but I agree. UF won back to back titles recently, made the title game a few years before that, and was in the final four in the 90's under Lon Kruger, I believe. There's really no doubt about Florida's ability to win in basketball.

Auburn has plenty of potential with the new arena and bball facilities.

Students have actually shown an interest for the first time since Doc and Porter's days on the plains.

Barbee has a top 25 recruiting class coming in and so far has proven to be a solid coach. I look forward to what he does with his own players.

Only problem is getting alumi and other fans in the seats. This year's attendance seems to have improved but its not consistent.

Next year will tell us if there is hope for the program.
