Including the Sugar Bowl, Bama and LSU has won 23 out of the last 32 games in their opponent's home state. I can't get over how weird that stat is. Both teams are pretty tough teams at home especially LSU yet it just seems like neither team can buy a win at home. Do you think this is a freak statistic or is there some underlying reason why the home team always seems to play poorly in this series?

And actually if you add in the fact that Bama didn't lose in Baton Rouge from like 1971 until 2000, it was really bad for the Tigers.

Their last win in Baton Rouge was 1969, so, 31 years passed without the faithful seeing a victory over Bama in Tiger Stadium.

And the guy in the other thread wonders why we Bama fans don't view LSU as a rival.
