But the players who sign in this class will enroll then when they are part of the SEC.

Won't matter for Mizzou, they are only taking 22-24 this year.

I wish we were gonna take 23 because at this point it looks like we'll be lucky to get 20. Especially if goines decides to decommit which I'm sure he fricking will. I really wish we would not be having our worst recruiting year as we move into the SEC

No, it does not. But their eligibility requirements for the SEC must be met. JuCos aren't allowed Internet courses in the SEC but are in the B12. It's costing us a kid or two apparently

After the helicopter show to DGB I am hearing 20 Scholarships is all you will be able to afford anyway.

We may be taking 27-28, but 4 are already enrolled. We currently have 71 players with eligibility remaining, including those four. In order to sign 23-24 beyond Davis, Marshall, Walker, and Jacobs, we have to attrit at least 10 players between now and fall camp.

Actually we aren't. We have signed less players than any SEC school over the last 5 years I think except UF and Vandy. Tennessee, Arkansas, Ole Miss and Bama are the ones trapdooring kids and oversigning

1. A redshirt senior has been with the program for 4 years. For all intents and purposes, the scholarship obligations have been fulfilled. A RS Senior who is not going to see playing time should be off the team to make room for players who are. Only 3 of our 8 returning 5th year seniors will ever see the field.

2. We have two players who may not be able to play due to injury. Unfortunately, one of them is our best returning defensive back. Another is a defensive tackle.

3. We have had several players transfer in order to get playing time. SHSU's best defensive player, Andrew Weaver, and Texas State's Michael Ebbitt were two players that fit this bill.
