Former Arkansas quarterback Mitch Mustain has reached somewhat of a crossroads after completing his college football eligibility at the University of Southern California. As the former Springdale High School star struggles to find an identity outside the spotlight of major college football, that’s just when things begin to get interesting,

He's been out of the spotlight for a while now, no? Seeing as he's been a backup since he transferred.

He and his mother are on the all-time "Worst Embarrassment" list in CFB.

I love the song, and Damien Jurado does some good stuff. Its almost like a modern day Kingsmen, meets David Gray. Definitely NW sound.

I also like the shots they show of Senior Walk, where his name would have been. Thats kind of creepy because I've done that with people who died.

It will be interesting to see how that turns out.

I disagree. I don't think he ever got a fair shake up here.

The "other side" of that fiasco talked and talked and talked.

We've never really heard Mitch Mustain ever say a thing about what went down during those dark days at the Broyles Athletic Complex.

I know most other SEC fans probably DGAF, but as an Arkansas fan, I will do my best to watch it.

I remember it happening and thinking it was one of the most bizarre and dramatic soap operas in college football, and there's obviously a lot of them

There is a lot of bull around this guy. He didn't get a good shot here. Nutt broyles and the like had it bsd against him. Fail on our AD and coach

Not sure why all the gumptards are in here, but after everything I've heard about the guy after Nutt came to Ole Miss this sounds intriguing.

BUT HIS MOM WAS A BITCH.. is what the haters say.

Can you imagine that ever being a factor in a Bob Petrino coached team? Someone's mom? I mean, for fricking real...

I still get a sick feeling in my stomach thinking about that era.

Yes, but doesn't it feel nice to have a true professional on the sidelines now?

Yes. Petrino could not have come to a better place to be loved.

We love that he is a dry, business-like, hard-arse most of the time, although with time, that impression of him continues to wane.

He's more or less just a professional. We've seen him cuss and bitch, but we've also seen him cry and laugh.

Not a hater, but c'mon...she kind of was

That trailer was put-together very nicely.

My very last class in college was with Mitch, Damien and Andrew Norman the summer before their freshman year. I was in a group with them and was amazed at how humble he was. You would have never known he was an elite QB prospect. He never talked about football and he almost seemed embarrassed if you asked about it. He was a pretty cool dude actually. I always felt bad that he got a bad deal at Arkansas. I think he would have been very successful if he had been in a better situation.

If it weren't for Mustain.........

Gus would still be coaching HS, and Auburn never would have won a NC.

Nutt would still be at Arkansas.

The Wildcat never would have reappeared in college, and damn sure not in the NFL.

Petrino would be who in the frick knows where.

The chain reaction of Mustain's recruitment and transfer to USC caused a ripple effect that changed the landscape of football.
