With all the spreads out there the nickel back has become very important. You need fast hard hitting backs to defend against it. That is why Saban can recruit so many DBs is because he saw how shut it down.

collins in the nickel would mean:
S - HaHa
S - Lester(NFL) or Sunseri
CB - Milliner
CB - Dixon or Fulton
NB - Collins
tons ot athleticism, but not a lot of experience especially if Lester leaves.
