The nickel has been a crucial position since Saban has been at Bama.
Javier Arenas had a big year in '09 switching in and out of the slot. They've used Menzie the last 2 seasons in a similar role, shifting him in and placing Milliner outside.
It's basically a starting position now...

We already use it a lot, but with the talent at DB, we'll be capable of doing it all game if we have to. Basically once these guys get the playbook down, we should be able to run whatever formation we want.
