You destroyed a reasonably good GA team with a QB who passed for 30 yards.

LSU has relied on special teams and defense to win games all year, and this next one will be no different. The offense is there simply to eat the clock and pick up a few yards here without turning it over. It's an offense by design.

Don't believe that LSU doesn't have offensive weapons however, they do. Miles prefers not to put the ball in the air though and uses the personnel to fit his scheme.

This was never more true than in the Georgia game. We were up like 28-10, having scored 28 unanswered points with under 100 yards of total offense and the game was clearly over. Georgia was done. And, I remember thinking, "How did we just do that?" We had not had a first down the entire first half and suddenly, within minutes, the game was over.

LSU got some big yards in the 4th quarter with our running game, but ended with 30 yards passing and it was a complete domination of a team who had finished 7-1 in the SEC and had 10 straight victories.

If LSU was just getting by opponents, winning with FGs and such at the last minute, I could say that they were just opportunistic. That is how LSU went 11-2 last year. Lots of close wins.

But, this team is BLOWING other teams out with defense and special teams and an efficient offense. I don't know if I've ever seen that before in college football history. I've seen teams win close ones this way, but never beat top 10 teams by 20-30 points like this.

LSU is just scary good and they are perfectly designed to beat Alabama on January 9th.

Of course, Alabama is very good too and can just as easily beat LSU.
