yeah Jeff Long went all Jimmy Hoffa style on Popcorn Hog.
Also I believe the marketing guy who came up with it, Matt Shanklin, was canned a short time later.

according to his Linkedin page he left the UA (Fired) in July 2010 and was hired by LSU in Feb 2011.

toonces was born long before he got here. LSU was moving away from toonces and going with the floating ghost head for a while

I think we should just use the tiger that's on the helmet for everything else too. It's based on the insignia for the Washington Artillery, which is part of the Louisiana National Guard.
