I'm not speaking for the guy saying "the way they were beaten", but i think he means more that you didn't run up 50 points like you do against your PAC-12 conference on a weekly basis.

That's exactly what I was saying.

Oregon scored 19 pts against a mediocre Auburn defense; they scored 27 against LSU (and anyone watching knew that band members were playing the last half of the 4th quarter in a blowout).

I agree that not everyone runs the same style of offense; the point is that in two straight attempts to run that crap against SEC defenses, Oregon failed miserably. It might work against Kentucky and Ole Miss, but it won't work against the best teams in the SEC.

That's fine. It's a flawed argument one way or the other considering there is more to the game than just offense (LSU fans should know this). I'll counter with Oregon held them to 22 points. They averaged 40 points a game against SEC opponents.
