Big 12 vs. SEC matchups

With Gundy talking about matching a Big 12 offense vs. an SEC defense, I thought it would be cool to present hypothetical matchups between the conference teams in order, with score...
Mark May said it best, against LSU or Bama, OSU's offense wouldn't get the ball for much of the game anyway, because their lines would be crushed. QBs aren't a factor when you can't win the lines.
Here's the breakdown...
OSU 11-1 vs. LSU 13-0 OSU 17 - LSU 42
KSU 10-2 vs. UA 11-2 KSU 10 - UA 35
Bay 9-3 vs. ARK 10-2 Bay 35 - Ark 49
OK 9-3 vs. UGA 10-3 OK 17 - UGA 28
Mizz 7-5 vs. USC 10-2 ..don't need to go on
Gundy's point is stupid.
Big 12 would average about 22 points per game against the SEC.
Weeden would not make it through an entire game against the LSU or Bama defense. Seriously.

Just my thoughts...

I tried to explain this to some OSU alums. They just don't understand.

Gundy's argument is that the Big12 defenses look bad because they face Big12 offenses.
We say SEC offenses look bad because they face SEC defenses.
You might say that we both have points and there's no way to know who is right. Except, the SEC has been matched up against those "great" offenses many times in bowl games. Suddenly, in those games, Big12 offenses don't look so good and SEC offenses look pretty damn good.

Being the only Big XII(X) v. SEC matchup in the bowls, Arkansas really needs to embarass KSU. I am just not convinced by all of these people saying the Big XII(X) is the strongest overall conference this year. If KSU beats Arkansas, the chorus of people singing that OSU got the shaft will be even more deafening. If Arkansas can beat KSU, one of these alleged great Big XII(X) teams, people may back off this Big XII(X) lovefest a little.

I have watched a couple KSU games this year. They are not what their record says they are. Arkansas should handle them fairly easily.
I think the illusion of Big 12 being "better" simply comes from parity this year within the conference. The Big 12 is NOT better then it has been in the past, OU and Texas are just no as good. Its hard for some in the Big 12 to grasp this notion.

Arky is going to take KSU apart.
