Stanford beat USC, a top 10 team and lost to Oregon. OSU beat K State, a top ten team, and lost to Iowa State. You can't be losing to teams like that.

Who else did each team beat? All Alabama fans love to focus in on just losses since that's the one category yall have over everyone else.

Put as much lip stick on it as you like, but the loss to a horrible Iowa State team affected this very close race. It is what it is. They had their shot. They were favored by 4 TDs FFS

It seems we can all admit if we're trying to be objective that you see both sides of the argument only using the evidence that best supports their case. (Alabama fans focusing on lowa St, Oklahoma St focused on "blind" polls that leave out losses ect etc ect or using computer rankings where the BIG12 looks better than in human polls)

Again, I said that I personally would vote Oklahoma St over Stanford for the reasons you mention but to say it's say so beyond any argument that someone is more impressed by Stanford beating USC and not choking against a 6-6 team than Oklahoma St beating a lot of teams that are ranked between 15-35 is hyperbolic.

Stanford didn't have any trouble with Notre Dame either if it's so important how a team should play against bottom of the TOP25 competition.
