What about that warrants being left out of a NC if there are many 1 loss teams, and when Alabama's only loss is to the number 1 ranked team in OT? Please tell.

A team that has more quality wins???

I can understand both teams' perspectives, but any Bama fan that can't understand why OSU could have a case for being put in is a moronic homer.

I said they could make a case to be in. As could Alabama. But there could be, and was, a case that OSU wasn't even the 3rd ranked team the last 2 weeks. Alabama was without doubt AT LEAST the 3rd ranked team. That has to mean something.

I think most agree that they have a case. This one came down to who had a better case, as is usually the case? Can't remember a year when there wasn't a little crying over someone losing an argument (case) like this.

BTW, a case can be made that the loss to Iowa State is enough to suggest Stanford is a better team and could beat them straigh up. The Fiesta will tell.
