That's my main argument over Bama. Basically it's like, should Bama get a second chance when we have a conference champion in the deepest conference this year who also blew everyone out but one team, also lost in OT, etc. You have a ranking system because not everyone gets to play (or enough teams don't play), so you have to give a team with a similar body of work a chance.
