Any Vols have insight as to why UT is trying to incorporate blue into the unis?

Apparently it's not just a temporary thing, and the women's team has been doing it for some time now. Just wondering if any Vols have some insight. Any plans to do it for football as well? Was it originally a school color?

I thought it was just for the Maui Classic (or whatever that tourney is called). All the teams there wore some unusually bright colors.

Those are the adiZero shoes... All adidas schools wore them. Kansas, etc...

I have a pair, and they are awesome. It's like playing with excellent grip, but they are so light weight it's like you have no shoes on at all.

That's atrocious.

I know the Lady Vols have always had a little bit of powder blue incorporated in their unis and etc, but nothing like that.
