How could a voter put Arky ahead of Bama with a straight face?

See the OP.
I noticed that the OP was devoid of any discussion of the 24-point arse whipping they gave y'all. Avoiding it doesn't make it go away. When it comes down to filling in those slots, voters will remember. I don't care how much y'all swear you've improved since then (y'all really showed Vandy!) - voters don't care about that. You got whooped by Bama. You aren't jumping them.

exactly. one of the main reasons we got to play in the NC in '07 was because of the beatdown we put on Virginia Tech. voters remember that stuff and we jumped all the way up to #2 after the SECCG....ahead of #3 VT

Margin of victory is one factor. The reasons listed in the OP should be more important than margin of victory, because a 1 point win and a 100 point win are both still just ONE win, and a 1 point loss or a 100 point loss are both still ONE loss.
