Bama plays Georgia Southern this weekend. The computers do not like I-AA (or whatever they call them these days) opponents.

Oregon is out of it, period. Oklahoma would be the only one to pass Bama unless voters put Bama at 4 or lower in the final poll before the Bowls.

Yes, Bama will lose a little in the computers with Ga St. However, Oregon doesn't get the benefit of a bump from USC, as they are not ranked. Oregon St is 2-8, further hurting them in the computers. IF, they play UCLA, they're a 5 loss team and probably going on to be a 6 loss team, as Oregon has already beaten them. If they play Ariz St, they are a potential 5 loss team. Oregon is out of the picture unless voters are really aggregious against Bama.

Okie St goes if they win out, which I think they will. In the event they lose, it will be a 3 race heat between, Bama, Okie and Okie St, with the voters being the difference. It could be a realllllly close margin from 2nd to 4th, if that happened.

Not true at all. Oregon is sitting at #4 right now.

This.

OTOH, I'm really gregarious about LSU.
