Just heard they've started 0-6 in SEC play for the first time in school history. I thought last year they could build on something but that doesn't seem to be the case.

I think he'll be gone next year.

It would've been if Bray had been healthy. Not to mention they got a really bad draw of an SEC schedule having to play LSU, Bama, and Arky out of the West.

No Bray, no Hunter. Don't think Dooley's the answer, but I don't think he gets all the blame.

We had a pretty decent senior class last year, denarius moore, luke stocker, gerald jones, nick reveiz.

Its not good but this year we're going to have 1 drafted senior with Malik Jackson who was a transfer from USCw from Dooley.

I think he deserves 4 years regardless of the outcome of next season.

Tennessee was a flat out dumpster fire when he got there. Fulmer's last couple of recruiting classes were shite. Kiffin recruited a bunch of highly talented thugs and headcases who all flamed out and left the team on their own or with police assistance. Nearly every contributor they have is an underclassman.

Why so KPD can drive him home from the bars again?

This. We return 20 starters next year, get Bray and Hunter back, and most of those starters will return again the year after. If we're still not competing for championships, we'll look elsewhere.

I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere but looking at scores I'm pretty sure that was their worst conference loss in 30 years too.

Tennessee is like Arkansas from 4 years ago. Petrino's first year he was left with an absolute mess and had to play 20+ freshman that season.

Basically that is the exact same thing that Dooley is having to do this year. You aren't going to win in the SEC having to play 20 freshman no matter who the coach is. It just isn't going to happen.

Give it two more years and Tennessee should be challenging in the East again. I really like Dooley's offense but there just isn't the talent there to execute it right now. As they get more reps it will become more and more deadly.
